Trying to get in the Halloween Spirit…
I love holidays. I am the person who decorates for all holidays and finds music to play during each one (Monster Mash anyone?)
However, this year Halloween just snuck up too quickly. I don’t feel prepared or ready for it nor do I feel like it is truly the end of October.
But alas, it is, so I am doing my best to get in the “Halloween” spirit.
Best way to start? Carving pumpkins! Dan and I picked out two pumpkins from our local pumpkin patch Wal-mart and we each went to work Tuesday night to create a masterpiece.
First step? Cleaning them! This is not such a bad thing because you get to bake the seeds and eat them after. Yummy!

Next step; carving!

My finished product.

The big reveal!

I admit this did help it feel a little bit more like Halloween. We topped the night off with the Rocky Horror Glee Show (amazing!)
Not such a bad way to spend our Tuesday night. :)
I hope that everyone else is taking some time to get in the Halloween spirit. Time flies by too quickly but you have to embrace each moment and have some fun along the way.
